-

I could not remember the engine code of the 1600 :embarassed:

ah well, my clutch feels fine after doing nowt for all these years but saw a brand new 1600 clutch for a tenner so thought it would be good to put in the spares box for when the time comes.

1.6 GTI clutch is 200mm, 1.8 GTI clutch is 210mm. either will fit but you need to get the right flywheel to match

ah thats good to know cheers, the one i found does come with a flywheel but will the missing 10mm make any difference to anything?

will take slightly less power, but prob ok for a std 1.8 :)
personally id skip it and wait for a proper sachs 210mm clutch comes up. only make i trust :)
