Title: Recommendations for servicing?

I need to get my Mk III GTi 8v serviced and I'm hoping that someone might be able to recommend a decent garage (as I don't have the tools or time to do it all). Any where in SW London/NE Surrey or even Middlesex will do. It's done 110k and it really needs a few things sorting out...

I've heard of Peter Norris in Clapham and the Golfdoktor in Hampstead but don't know if they are any good. Any comments?

If you can drive a little further that Middlesex try Mill Road Garage in Caversham, Reading (01189 461674). With enough notice they even offer a free courtesy car, although don't expect a golf!  They specialise in VWs, and even issue receipts with VW all over them.  They're about half the cost of a main dealer, and the service (although I've only been there once) was excellent.  I have another service coming up and will be going back.

i've given up looking one. So at the moment mines in alan dale in central london. They are doing a deal at the moment.

Small Service 129
Large Service 199

That includes VAT and they will even pay the congestion charge.

I will post back later and tell you the end price ...... (i can hear the sucking of air through teeth now)
