Not sure if it's the right part for your year but I have a set of highline clocks sitting in a cupboard that were the wrong part for my 2008 car. I keep meaning to stick them on ebay but never got round to it so if you're looking to buy a set let me know. I'll check the part number of the ones I have and post back.

you can work it out from the part number of your current clocks. i have a tdi140gt...my cluster number is Part No: 1K0 920 962 G, you work it out from the last 3 digits.

so the 962,

9: im not sure the meaning of this one
6: this can either be 5, 6 or 7!     5 = lowline, 6 = midline, 7 = highline
2: this corresponds with the year your car was manufactured. mine is 2 so i would need a set of highline clocks ending with 2.

so the part no. i would need is 1K0 920 972, i still havent found any though, been looking for ages.

hope this helps

it think so mate. try asking for 1K6 920 972 without the letter. when the bloke in the parts department then searches etka it should bring up any new revisions. i had this trouble when i was after a new convenience module. the end letters are usually the difference in revisions. i cant remember the actual letter i was after, say it was G, that had been supersede with S

1K6 920 972 DX ZO3.

What does the ZO3 part of the number mean?

I think it refers to how the instruments are initially coded for service intervals, ie Variable or time and distance or fixed.
