I hate mot time and always dread going to pick the motor up afterwards when they tell you how many hundreds of pounds its gonna cost :angry: :grin:
But..... a £50 spot of welding is all that was required this time and now shes all nice and legal for another 12 months :smiley:
Looks like all the time i spent scouring the classifieds for something different this month (16v) was pointless as im gonna be keeping the 8v beast! :evil:

lucky you, glad i dont have to do the whole mot thing this year (coming off the rd), cos i think my emissions will be rather high with the amount of oil its eating :D

This x 6 positions + 2 x missing Bent jacking points :drool:
Shame really as the engine is good and the tweaks have made it pretty quick for an 8v :cry:
Got until April to find another VW that dont cost £230 to tax :angry: suggestions?

mine went in other week and failed on front ball joint, both rear axle bushes sticky front brake and near number plate light.
the body work undernath mine is absolty spotless :)
wanna get it re undersealed for this winter so it stays tht way :)
