Title: us spec bumpers

i know the front us spec bumper is different to euro and has the side markers in it, but i was reading somewhere earlier and someone mentioned a us spec rear bumper?? did they have a us spec rear bumper or has someone just got their facts wrong, whats the difference between that and a euro one? are they rare?

Yes, its true
The US spec rear bumper looks just like a Mk4 bumper
But i think the quarter panels need work doing to them to fit. I could be wrong tho

That was only the cabrio, the hatch was the same rear as a mk3 apart from the tailgate.

The US rear bumpers are shaped slightly different, the top part which is textured over here is colour coded on US bumpers and juts out slightly more apparently. The lower textured section is shaped slightly different too and it's noticeably shallower than the European rear bumper.
