You haven't even got projector lens
The scatter from a xenon bulb is NOT designed to sit in a standard housing lens so you will now be blinding people as you go along, good work . . .

Hi Alan,
I thought about this before I bought these black GT lights as they already had the Xenons fitted, but the chap who I bought them off said these are the H7 anti glare Xenon's so it would be okay?
I have not had anybody flash me?? Also when I stand in front of the Golf in the Dark it dosnt blind me??
Thank you.

Near Plymouth mate,

He would say that, he is trying to sell them to you. I've never hear of these "anti glare" xenons and not really sure how they would work as a light is a light at the end of the day, its still going to blind you, cant really comment on them.
Theres a reason EVERY single car company that sells xenon's has them in project lens. I personally think auto levelling sensors and screen washers (which is what you need to make them legal) are far far too over the top, but projector lens should be a minimum. I don't want to come across as some moany old man so will leave it at that.

Thank you for the info Al,
I think I will see how it goes, If i get flashed allot by other driver's I will take them off as I think the Black GT lights look awesome anyway.

Ha! Although to be fair I think most people wouldn't have heard of these. I wonder how they avoid glare whilst remaining so bright?

Those anti-glare HIDs are interesting! I haven't heard of them before. If they work at stopping the glare then fair enough imo.

He He,

A good test can be to park up at night, put on your lights and sit in a mate's car and move forward a few car lengths. Check for glare from different distances. Some people will flash you just because they are blind. People flashed me with stock bulbs in stock headlights before.

Not sure how 'glare free' they are. I will trapse through the interweb later and have a look :smug:
