hi i know itsnot a golf but i have a 1.0 polo the prob is when im driving i can hear a grinding noice witch gose when i push the clucth it gose it sounds like the gearbox would low gearbox oil makwe this happen or has the gearbox had it

possibly, but i would be thinking (off my recent problems on my golf) that maybe the clutch release bearing or related???
but i have no experience on that part of the olop, so surely club polo forum would be your better choice of forum to ask on!!

sounds like a problem with the clutch its self mate
when you put your foot on the pedal dose the noise completely stop?
If so do you get the pedal is trying to relay fight back?
If So then you best off replacing the clutch kit and bearing not a hard job

when the cluch pedel is down there is now noice atall and the pedel is uite springey
