just bought my first golf,serious car wit unrel power,any advice or anything to be wary of regarding the engine?

Good choice of car, just keep your eye on levels inbetween services.  I have had mine a couple of years now no problems at all.  Allow yourself plenty of cash for good tyres though.  :smiley:

Try the search function in the MKV specific section for more info.

Diverter valves and diesel-like idle are the two main issues on the MKV.  Great car though. :afro:
