Title: 1.8 8v Digi PB idles like a race car / V8

Hey guys, just after some advice.

my 8v Digi PB, has always run on idle like it hunts and the engine shakes a bit, it idle s like its had a big duration cam fitted and sound like a Chevy V8 (or like its hunting) , but revs and pulls like a train (or a small  80s German hatchback, take your pick)

Now I got some carb cleaner and have sprayed round the injectors/ inlet manafold near the injectors and as its running rough, when I spray a bit near the injector nearest the flywheel end the, the engine smooths out and the idle picks up, like wise near the injector near the cam sprocket side.

It looks to me like a injector seals need changing or the inlet has a leak.

Any other thoughts, I want to get it runinng smooth.

Ive got a video of it running , but need to get it off my phone.

inlet would be the 1st thing to check, seen a couple where the mounting bolts have worked loose. also worth a good look at the gasket area, might be someone has changed it but the gasket fell out of position while it was being bolted up
