Title: JVC Stereo Settings

I have recently bought a 1.4 mk5 and hooked it up with a new stereo. Whenever I change the settings, they stay like that till I take the key out the ignition. The next time I turn the car on, it has returned to factory settings, clock and all. Does anyone know what is wrong and/or how I can sort this?

take stereo out switch over red and yellow wire, sorted :)

I'll try that out when it gets back from the garage with its new clutch
