Title: Has anyone got mudflaps on there mk3?

Not great pics of the mudflaps but you get the idea.I like them.Although the front ones are about half an inch from the road so might take them off.Hope the dreaded tin worm hasn't taken effect behind them!

Yep then when you lower the car they drag / catch the curbs etc or get ripped off.

+1 had to take my fronts off before the tarmac ripped them off and my skirts with them.

backs are still on but not for much longer!

Post by: Dan_GTi8v on 18 August 2010, 11:38: I had them on mine, front ones came off when lowered and had to remove the rears when fitting the splitter. Was a bit reluctant at first as I like the way they look, but I think now I prefer it without :)

Had a bit of rust under the front ones, but the rears will be ok as the rear bumper they cover is oly made of plastic
