Hi basically I got one key with my golf which seem's to be a bit twisted! - do regular keycut shops have keys they can cut for them or do I litrally have to buy a blank key from somewhere to get it cut? if that makes any sence at all ?
Cheers Rich.

You should be able to get them to cut a key on a generic key but if you want one with the VW logo on then yes you would need to take the blank key to the shop

if they can cut it on a generic key that'll do for now just need to get a couple of copies as I'm more than sure this key will snap at some point being as twisted as it is lol.
Thanks for the reply =)

I got a vw logo key from ebay, it came from america, and i think it was old genuine stock. There are loads on ebay from hong kong, but i didnt want to get a cheap nasty one. When i took it to a local key cutters, they said they could have got the pattern blank, tho they had none in stock.
Im my searching, I found there may be a couple of options for the profile shape (code is like AH or something i think) so if you order one, check the shape matches, either with a picture of the product, or the code

Cheers for that Rob, will check when I take it to get cut and hopefully can get the shape I need :)
