hay guy's need a lil help got a ABF fitted in my mk2 thats dead(was that way when i brought it) as i was taken the engine apart i noticed that the standard manifold has a crack in it......
what i need to know is do i go for a 4branch or just get another standard one?????
i take it i need a mk3 4 branch if i go this root as the front pipe looks standard and unmoddified.........

They all crack. It's a common fail on the ABF manifold.
Good luck finding an ABF suitable tubular manifold.
-
ask tsr, they were developing one. dunno if its for sale yet?
or stop drill the crack and weld it up
or make a 1.8 tubular manifold fit
-
don't look at the crack there all cracked and rarely ever blow
-
thought it would b a common fault............
i thought a mk3 4 branch sholud fit just because its got a standard mk3 manifold and front pipe.........
dont think it can be welded just because the crack goes to where you cant get to it...
