Title: high idling

hi my mk2 1.6 idles between 2000 and 2500 and when im driving and put my foot in on the clutch it rises again. any ideas?

mine did this i just changed the idle stabliser (it also did it randomly)

1.6 did that have a ISV?
OR peirburg carb?
