Title: gti mk2 1.8 8v

i have an chance of one of these its high miles well it is an 18 yo car it has 160k so less than 10k a year which is below average now the car is in very good nick a little rust on drivers door but thats it for rust what should i check for as ive wanted a gti for ages and the minters are far to much money for what they are any help would be great

Shouldn't you be motorising office furniture rather than buying mk2 gti's?
