Title: resetting my ECU

afternoon everyone

a guy at work told me that if i unhook the battery for over an hour it resets my ECU.. is this correct??

and will it reset the IN O2 message i get when i turn my car on?? ( my vag-com port doesnt work   :sad: )

about 30 minutes with the battery disconnected should reset it....and IN02 means its due for a service/inspection (there's a thread in maintenance that shows how to clear it)
