205/40/17? Or that would possibly give you a bit of stretch on a 8J rim, so I would say 215/40/17
You can go for a higher profile, it's up to you :)
-
Mmm... I hadn't thought about having a bit of stretch actually.
I'd only want a little bit though.
-
them wheels are 5x112 fitment and you would need adaptors to fit them..for reference the golf is 5x100
-
205/40/17's plus you will need adaptors.
-
Yeah, mines even worse at 4x100... they don't make adapters.
I'd have to convert the hubs to 5x100 then buy 5x112 adapters.

Is it worth it. :undecided:
-
I am liking those wheels...
Is there anything similar in a 4 stud?
Or would that look rubbish?
-
I like them wheels, stick some 165/40/17's on them
Dan
-
They would look  on a Golf...Even for an Audi they're so so...
And I didn't realize they were 5x112. Definitely not worth the hassle.
-
I've seen them on a 9n3 Polo and they looked mental. I can't remember seeing them on a mk3 but they might work. You'd need to be lowered a bit and really stylin' though
-
rubber ones.

lololololol

Look a bit like 16" bora hubcaps on steels.

Adapters are available, two piece ones from??? Can't flipping remember but its on the comp at home. 205/40's or 195/40's would both be ok depending on your aimed final et

Yeah, I thought about getting a set of adapters to make it 5x100 then another set to both onto that to make it 5x112 but I think that'd be like fitting 70mm spacers.
I don't know how safe those two piece ones are.

To pull these off you would need to slam i and be SMOOTHHHH!
Oh and apparently 17's dnt ride to well on G3's :(
But yeahh 205/45 would give you a tiny bit of stretch, and 215's would give ou virtually none!
If you're 4x100 get some OZ Turbo's
-
Yeah, I've got some coilovers on order... It's gonna be lower but not like Dmonday's estate kind of low.
The roads round here are way too bad!

This one really floats my boat.
It's on air ride though.... mine will be nowhere near as low as that - it's still got to be practical.
-
^^I like those wheels.
-
Me too - I wish I could find a set.
I'd feel pretty guilty about stealing his look though.

They are from a Audi A6 if it helps.
-
Oh right!
I thought they were A8's... It should make it easier searching for the right thing!

I believe they were offered as a option on A6's and classed as winter wheels, they may also have offered them on A8's
-
The A8 winter wheels are different. They are larger and have different cut outs. TSW Holsteins are replicas of them apparently.
