Title: What steering wheel do you run in your mk2?
Post by: jmsheahan on 13 August 2010, 22:16
As per the title really, just curious as to what people run on their mk2's. What you got?

I love the standard 90 spec gti wheels but would like to try something smaller. Inspiration commence ...

Ive got a standard shape leather one (G60 spec?). Feels a little nicer (to caress), but the same diameter. Would like to try smaller wheel too, but im stuck with the desire to look original...

G60 ones look rather nice. Tricky to find a good looking OEM wheel that's a smaller size.

Got one of these Polo wheels, think it's smaller than standard...bit annoying 'cause I can't see the speedo needle when it gets past 50mph but I'll live lol

Crap angles, its a dimo one, dont know if thats a good make or anything, person i bought it off said it was "rare" along with the rare cassette holder, rare rear seat headrests which are bodges !! so i doubt its anything special!

I've got the regular MK2 gti wheel but as I've got a bit of a yellow/black them going on I'm thinking of getting this:

Will post up some pics of her when I figure out how to!

Upload a photo to say http://www.photobucket.com/ and you need the IMG code. Just copy and paste the IMG code into one of these talky windows and hey presto

Like this I think

I used to run the exact one and loved it. OEM, small, fits VERY well with a mk2 interier.

Alas, i now run a team as Im a scene whore... Not really, but still...
