Title: 8v coilovers
Post by: FOREST GREEN on 12 August 2010, 21:20
Anyone know where I can get a set 'cheap' from at the moment? Is anyone doing any deals at all? The cheapest I have found is £165.00 inc delivery on Ebay

Cheers for your help guys

im sure people will say you get what you pay for and they are prob right, but all i wanted was a slammed mk3 so i snapped up some hottuning coilovers for £150 2 years ago and they are still going strong. People with more knowledge will prob give you some different advice.

This old debate again

My hotuning ones have been on for about a month now and are fine for me. The ride is firm but not too harsh and the handling is greatly improved. They creaked a bit when first fitted but a shed load of grease all over them solved that!

Yeah, classic thread.

I've got Jamex and I'm happy.

Don't go for the cheapest sh!t you can find...

I had hotuning fitted for well over a year with no issues. I did adjust them a good few times and had no seizure issues as they were well greased when fitted
