And it holds the power for longer

There are some graphs in my project thread showing the difference between the standard cat and the decat  :nerd:

Any ideas on years, ages or anything that might be a factor to that?
To be honest the gains are good enough to go for one, just need to find a cheap one or a second hand one :)

Not really sure why Adam's doesn't owl  :undecided:  Think his is an 03 plate, mine was a 51 and Steve's was a 52 plate.

Mind you since my turbo was replaced it didn't owl either

THS provide adaptor sleeves so ideal if you're fitting it to the standard exhaust.

Milltek you'll have to buy one separately from Jetex

is it not easier to just get a pipe welded in place instead of paying 140?

i might do that if its possible

well im only decatting till i can afford a full system, but id prefer not to pay 140 quid for something that could maybe be done for alot less.

what are your opinions?

I paid for the Milltek downpipe.  Was fitted in less than an hour and gave very good gains through the mid range.

In hindsight I would have gone for the THS one as they provide adaptor sleeves whereas I had to buy a sleeve separately from Jetex as usefully Milltek don't provide an adaptor to fit the downpipe to the stock system, yet they provide an adaptor to fit the catback to a standard CAT  :undecided:

I originally had the downpipe fitted to the stock system but later upgraded to a full system.

If you've got a decent exhaust place near you I'd get some quotes from them :afro:
