...mk3?
my little bro is a proffessional snowboarder and left his mk3 in my garage which i now need to shift into another garage. 2 of his alloys(those ferrari type ones) have cracks in the alloy somewhere as its defintitley not the tyre.. i'm constantly having to fill the tyres up with air everytime i need to move it- pain the asshole. was thinking of puting some cheap rims on it while its off the road so i can move it - sell it  .
going to get in touch with vw breakers etc but how much we talking here?
probably just need 2 ....
anyone know how much a set of gl or diesel L standard rims be?
cheers

The real early mk3 gti rims are worth next to nothing, so much so that people often give them away. You are looking at 50 quid tops for a set of 4!
-
in fact, if you are near croydon you may be sorted:

all mk3 gti/vr6 are 5/100 stud pattern, some lower spec models are 4/100
that will be expensive delivery but if the wheels are free?

ahhh fook...!
unfortunately my bro's car is a d****l 1.9l (lowered) and thinking of it now it does have the 4 stud pattern...
ahh back to the drawing board.. :embarassed:

if you dont care about the wheels and tyres, you can pick em for a fiver each at a scrappy.
