Title: Cam belt & water pump change

Afternoon all! Got my car going in for a cam belt and water pump change on Monday - £270 incl. VAT at a local well respected VW indie.

I'm assuming when they change the water pump they'll also change the coolant - is this right?

Is it worth getting them to flush the coolant system in this case?

It should be good practice to drain flush and refill....

They won't necessary replace all the coolant, they might just top up what is lost when replacing the pump.

Best to check.
