Title: How much is my Cab worth?
Post by: richard ellison on 13 January 2005, 10:16
Just been wondering recently how much my mk1 cab is worth....

Pic is below but spec:
-lowered on coilovers
-schmidt TH line wheels
-clear indicators, side repeaters
-original leather interior, excellent condition
-german style no plate
- tonnaeu cover in grey to match leather
-tax, mot
-79k on clock
-FSH...

i was thinking 2.5k with orginal wheels and maybe 3.3k with the chrome wheels?

How far off the mark am i?

Hmmm, tough one, what year is it ? You've obviously done loads to it and I'd see no reason why you would not get 2.5 - 3.5k for it, but it depends how much someone wants your car really and how much they are prepared to pay for it as the later cabs are going for 3 - 4k at the moment. It's got really low miles, FSH and leather interior so you have that going for it.

Well it sounds and looks well ace mate

Cabbie prices are always strange to predict. But reckon you wouldn't be far out with those prices mate

its 1980! i thought it might boost the price because it is SO early compared to most on the road...
