someone???

did you use screws through the side of the fascia to mount the stereo??
the reason i ask is that the fascia could be being pulled in too much at the sides therefore causing the button issue
i presume they work fine when not in the fascia??
the stereo i would imagine did not come with a metal cage (most of these cheaper units don't)
as for removing it from the dash in the fascia it will (or should) just push out. However the side screws in the fascia can make it very difficult to get out from the dash as the screw heads sometimes protrude past the trim

no i didnt put screws in and fix it in properly as i was scared that if i did it may never come out again haha.i can only the the din to fit in to the fascia before i install i. if i try putting the fascia in first then try putting the din in it wont fit to small.
yeah the fascia has 2 like cut outs on one side but i dont understand when fitted how you would get to them? are they supposed to be put to the top or the bottom when fitted?
thnx m8

the stereo screws to the fascia theough the sides there should be 2 screw holes either side of the plastic fascia that should line up with 2 mounting holes on either side of the stereo
if the stereo doesn't fit properly in the fascia then the stereo may well in that case need a universal metal cage and plastic surround instead
something like this for example

i might have sorted it with fascia but how do i remove it if needed?
thanks

you just need to prize the fascia out carefully with a trim tool preferably
