Post by: pablo64 on 11 August 2010, 09:10
can  you tell me if mk3 wishbones are the same as mk2, i ask coz last night  i checked my w/bs coz iv a knocking on the passenger side, there is movement up and at the rear bush, i only fitted these a year ago and got them from gsf, iv got the old mk3 i took out and was thinking shud i just buy some poly bushes would it save me money in the long run as in not putting new w/bs on each year, fitted some to a mk2 16v years ago and they have been fine, lasted ages, car is a 97 TDI, all help appreciated, cheers

there shud be movement up at the rear bush best way to check is get some1 to drive the car forward and slam on  the brakes if the arms are gone then ur wheel will move backwards in the arch gsf arms are usually high standard so think u should check elsewhere aswell
