Title: Cambelt changed - book stamped ?
Post by: Stitch on 10 August 2010, 23:03: Had the cambelt changed on Monday but noticed they didn't stamp the book. Should they have?

Just make sure you keep the invoice that should clearly state that it's been done for your records.

Agree. Obviously i've kept the invoice as well, but people do like to see lots of expensive stamps in the book.

They should stamp the book and tick the box that says toothbelt changed. As mentioned keep the invoice also for proof.

^^^ Next time you're there, get them to stamp it...? Not really worth a trip especially - because you have the invoice - but it's nice to be all official. :grin:
