Title: Handbrake ?

Hello,

When I get in my MK3 GTI, it groans at the back as if something is straining. I think it's the handbrake cables - has anyone else experienced similar ?

If you sit back in the seat if groans too - I know what I mean....!

Are you sure it isnt your shocks ?

push the back of the car down with the handbrake off (car in gear )
