go into the carwash everything is fine

come out, and my car is chugging and  lost power quite a but and like juddering

really p!ssed as ive just got it all sorted respray etc and now its doing this

any ideas?

Water has got into the plug leads, dry them out and then spray some wd40.

Theirs lots of things it could be ... It would of probably happened even if you didn't visit the car wash, its just badluck it did happen after, because your probably thinking water got in some where it shouldn't have, but here's a list of things I changed, with No.1 being the last thing I did which sorted my car out last year when I had the same problem.

1. Crank Sensor
2. ISV Valve
3. HT Leads
4. Spark Plugs
5. All the little breather tubings (really thin ones)
6. ECU Relay

plug leads being the ht leads that go onto your spark plugs?

just unplugged them and left them sitting there

best to let them dry over night?

spray everything electrical with wd40. take off the distributor cap and make sure theres no water in that aswell.

Personally I would just let the plug leads dry out overnight as you said then reconnect them tomorrow morning. Then I would remove the dizzy cap and check for moisture, dry it out if any and clean the contacts and rotor arm while you are there. Then hopefully everything will be ok.

What i wanna know is, what type of carwash did you take your nice shiny car to.? Was it one with those big swurley brush's that leave big round scratches in your paintwork..?

and nah it wasnt mate hand car wash by polskies :)
