Title: mk3 rear brake pads, same on a mk4?

rears on my gt tdi are worn, ive got a spare set for my mk3 2.sl0w

are they compatible?

the mk4 pads are a little thicker than mk3, so they may not fit. I think the caliper can just reach over them though.
does the kit come with the metal slider plate thingies, I'd be interested to know if they would fit mk3 carriers as mine are looking a bit pitted

Some1 gave me a box of spares for my mk3 and in the box was two pads, so I assume they were mk3 rears, anyways they do fit I wound the cylinder in with mole grips while compressing it with a g-clamp popped it over the pads an disks, loosened the bleed nipple pumped the air out tyed it off and stuck the wheel on ..,
