Title: Recon/breakers engine gearbox - where from?

I got a lemon -  :angry:

16v gti, abf 02a

My gearbox is fooked and my engine sounds like a bag of spanners!

Obviously im gonna try everything i can and hopefully wont need a new engine but the box is gone!

Anyone tell me where i can get recon parts, any specialists etc

Also good breakers who dont ask 275 quid for a 02a gti 16v gearbox (like the one on ebay at the moment)

got mine from 24/7 spares, tell em what you want and they email you local quotes

www.find-a-part.com are good as well
