Title: 20v turbo , crankcase breather pipe to inlet manifold,
Post by: brianpologti on 30 July 2010, 13:27
just got a quick question , my agu daily has started losing or lost boost, so had a quick look and found a split pipe, its the one thats a t piece, the small pipe goes to inlet manifold via a valve, and the other two are part of the breather side, one works its way to rocker cover and tip the other to the crankcase.  Which I know you do away with this t piece/valve it you do the catch tank mod, which I should really my finger out and order the parts, but I was thinking do I really need it as vw want 25 quid for this bit, or can I block off the inlet manifold pipe, and link the two others across, and pull my finger out and other a catch tank. cheers

It breathes to the inlet to release pressure in the crankcase.

Block it up and you'll blow seals.

Not the marine kind though.
