Some numpty has managed to dent my car! Its the strip of metal that runs down the left side of the drivers window on the door. I was wondering if anyone knows whether this panel is replacable as it seems that it isnt actually a part of the door and may be able to come off?
thanks

Do you mean the bump strip? it's plastic!

No the black strip that runs inbetween the drivers side window and the rear passenger window!?

Any chance of a photo just to clarify what exactly you're asking about?

I just realised what he's on about. It's the bit of the drivers door on the B-pillar. It's black on every GTI regardless of colour.

yep that's the one, do you know wheteher this is replacable part at all or what i can do about the dent? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Yep, looks like that part is listed in ETKA and is about £20.
Depends on whether 5 door or three door, matt or glossy.

It would be rude not to upgrade.
