Title: i'm after your opinion

hi all, i'm after your opinion as to what you think i should do i have a silver mk3 golf and i'm growing quite a severe dislike to my rear wiper arm, i have a couple of options as i havnt the money to have it properly smoothed yet, so i can A: leave it as it is, B: buy a smoothed wiper or C: remove the wiper and replace with a colour coded grommit, your opinions and views are much appreciated

Look up in the Sticky section mate, Guy's BMW conversion.

You will regret not having a rear wiper I assure you!
I also have a Passat saloon and I wish that had one!

naaah first thing I did was ditch my rear wiper back in February and its not been a problem

I haven't used a rear wiper in 3 years  :P and thats all the time i've been driving!
I would say, leave as is if you're going to smooth it anyway, instead of throwing money at it for no reason...

And Wayne, to me that looks slightly odd :( Buts thats only my opinion :)
But i just think thats because your car is clean  :grin:

I wanted to get it smoothed and welded but never bothered.

I just did mine a fortnight ago. Quite like it tbh. It really makes the back end a lot cleaner looking. (well in terms of clutter, in a literal sense it does the opposite) But yeah, I'v not missed mine yet. Infact, thats reminded me, i was gonna list it in the classifieds.
