Title: GTI radiator questions

Does the 8v GTI use a bigger radiator than the lesser models (1.4, 1.6, etc)? If so, do you need different mounting points or parts on the front for one to fit?

bigger rad but they all use the same mounting points....and due to this the hoses are different and fitting other rad's is virtually impossible due to this (unless you can make/bodge some?)

as above physically it will go in, but the trouble might be getting the pipes to fit. various bodgery could be done to get it in, but why bother? the oem rad is perfectly capable.
