Title: Tilt and slide sunroof
Post by: old_boy on 11 June 2003, 21:29
Anyone know anything about converting tilt and slide sunroofs to electric T/S?
I've done a normal T/S conversion and i've just obtained an electric mechanism from a corrado, but its not sraight forward as the main cog is bigger than normal.
There used to be a feature on golfgtinet.com on how to do this and i printed it off but the site no longer exists and i've moved house in the last year and cant find my print offs. :'(
Anyone have these print outs?
Anyone know the author?
anyone have an alternative source?
If you can help, please do so-I'll buy you a beer at the next show!
I have trawled the net with search engine also.

Been thinking of doing the tilt and slide conversion to mine, how easy was it and what donor car did you use?

It doesn't seem to want to copy over properly.

Best bet is to cut and paste it into your explorer, that works.

have fun.
