Title: water pump pulley

does the power steering belt run of the water pump??
if it does does anyone have a spare pulley for sale or a pic of the pulley i need. cheers

im converting mine to power steering and wondering if the non power steering water pump pulley is made for a single belt and the power steering model pulley is made for two belts. if so i need a pulley and am wondering were i can source one??

8v waterpump pulley is different for pas, its a single pulley tho. there should be another pulley bolted inside the crank pulley for the pas, this runs the waterpump and the pas.  the alternator is run from the main crank pulley on its own.

unfortunatly the pas waterpump pulley is discontinued from VAG :(

if you have no luck, upgrade to the complete setup from a MK3 golf. you need alternator, brackets, pas pump + brackets, pullies, and all the fixings. mk2 pas lines bolt right up to a mk3 pump.  take all of the above from any 1.8-2.0 8v or 16v, except the crank pulley which must be from an 8v. 16v one is different
