I was driving along a narrow street the other day, when some 'tool' coming the other way decided he wasnt gonna wait and was just gonna come steaming through towards me, despite the fact that the parked cars were on his side of the road.
Anyway, as it looked like we were gonna smash into each other i had to chuck it up on the kerb at around 30mph. The problem is that now my steering wheel doesnt sit straight. I jacked the car up the next day and everything looks fine under there and there is no visible bending in the lower arms etc.
My question is - can bumping it up the kerb knock the tracking out? Im hoping so, then it should be a nice cheap fix! Cheers.

Yes Mate I did exactly the same years ago in my Tomcat although mine was all my own fault as I was trying to get ahead of someone where the two lanes go into one. Took it in the next day to check the tracking and the guy said I was lucky the car was in one piece and he had never seen a car with the tracking out as much. You should be lucky enough to just need the tracking done.

I did this also coming out of a sainsburys multistory in my old corsa, tried to be all boy racer and drift the corner, ended up smacking into and over onto the central reservation thing and grinding down it till the bottom lol, both front wheels were destroyed and tracking was out by a mile.
people that heard it said it sounded like I rolled it :P
Oh to be young and stupid again :P now im just stupid :)
