Title: HOW TO ADJUST WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Hi everyone, need to adjust the wheel alignment on my mk3 gti 8v today. and threads or info on doing so would be much appreciated. cheers guys and girls. :smiley:

set up a string line along the side of the car to the center of the wheels and set the string 3inches away from the center of the wheels the passanger side is toe out by 4mm, just need some advice on how to adjust it really mate, got a good idea but not good enough.

It is adjusted with the track rod ends but really better done with specialist equipment.

+1. Car won't be perfectly straight unless you use laser alignment.

string method works but you have to be really accurate with it. theres an awesome guide on cgti on how to set this up. trouble is the floor has to be perfectly flat otherwise it'll never be right
