Well it finally happened, I bought my first ever VW a MK2 Golf GTI 8V after 3 months of searching. Will be getting it on Tuesday I cannot wait!!!!

nice one, one thing i will say is get to as many vw shows as poss, there the dogs and you`ll have a right laugh :wink:

Gday mate from another newie , got myself an 8v too the other week , driven it for 4 days then took it off the road , im missing it allready , puts a silly grin on my face , ?:laugh:

thanks for the welcome, picked the dub up today had some fun with it already and I have a silly smile on my face which might be permanent!!!!
