Title: leather handbrake handle

brought a new leather hand break gatior for my us spec center console,i havnt a clue how to get the old leather off, wont budge, dont wanna go breaking anythingive  i think i can just about slip the gaitr over the old leather, question is, where the release button is, ther is a plastic curcle around it that caps off the leather as it were. can i prise that off so that i can cap off the new leather?

theres a clip on the bottom, its on the left of your pic. if you lift up the leather you should find it :)
