Title: MK4 20v 1.8 GTI TURBO new girl

Just wanted to say hi to all i have just got my first proper Golf had a couple of MK3's (1.4 MK3, 1.9 TDI MK3) in the past but now eventually got the best i've ever had my 1.8 GTI turbo remapped 204 BHP absolutely love it although couple of teething problems as with any 2nd hand car bought i unterstand nothings perfect but i dont car I'e always loved Golf's no matter what probs they have given me

Welcome Vicki and enjoy your stay.

You'll find the mk4 section very useful and the member very helpful if your having any problems with the car. Though be warned is does contain alot of sarcasim and starved males that havent been near girls in a while.

Hello and welcome. I just brought one 2 days ago aswell im loving it but it needs a remap lol. I looked at loads and finally got one.  :smiley:

Maddy where abouts in North Lincs you from as your probs local to me.

If you want a remap then most people recommend R-Tech remap, there the mutts nuts

I'm from sunny scunny too. Yes R-Tech do seem to be highly recommended. I'm not sure I want a remap. I'm still researching...

See if you can get a test drive of someone's that's had a remap, I guarantee you'll be on the phone to R Tech in no time  :grin:
