Title: Super Stubby Mirrors?

Hey guys

Can someone direct me to, or even tell me what the wingmirrors ( Pictured below ) are? If i type " Stubby Mirror" into google, im getting either the 6n Polo or the Lupo ones, but not these.

Any ideas?

As above DTM mirrors they tend to be made to fit any car and you buy backing plates to suit.

It's worth looking at different makes of DTM mirror too as there are differences in shape depending on the brand.

they are DTM CUP mirrors.aprox £80/90

M3 mirrors are chavtastic but DTM mirrors look awesome when a car is modded a certain way.

It's worth noting that those DTM mirrors are mostly Mattig Cups, which can be pricey now. The generic ebay ones don't look as good, but can be modified to look better.

Yeah dtm can look good. pain the ass to see out of them with driving thou when had them on my old 106!!

It's also worth noting that those 3 pics are 2-3 years old when more Golfs had Vento fronts than Golf fronts  :wink: That and I couldn't be arsed with trawling through all my mk3 pictures for some Golf fronted cars with the mirrors  :grin:

Those mirrors = Euro... If its all smoothed and Squeaky clean they will look good imo!
But on a standardish G3.. I'm thinking chav!

Oh and Standard front end ftw!

Love this one and the first one. 3dr black 3's with 4 bar vento fronts look really good IMO :nerd:

I've got a 3 bar Vento front end 3 door. Really considering those mirrors just simply because you dont see them locally. I dont like the M3 mirrors at all, but have took quite a fancy to the DTM ones.

Might be worth noting the in the original picture they are Mattig mirrors, a lot rarer and more expensive, a few of the other pics are indeed DTM's

DTMs tend to bulge out a little more at the bottom, the Mattigs are much smoother

I've a pair of DTM mirrors for sale if you're interested.Trial fitted but changed my mind.Made of black plastic but can primer them if you're going to colour code them.Fitted with blue tinted manual glass.Only have one base plate as I used the other to make a blanking plate but the mirrors are universal type so base plates are easy to come by.
