Title: Spoiler laquered, how to polish like the bodywork?

Just painted a spoiler, then clear coated it with laquer....

Seems a bit dull now, what do u do next? Buff it?

how long ago was it painted? have you got a pic you can post up?
if its been done very recently then id suggest leaving it a while so the paint and clearcote can cure properly and harden off before you polish it :wink:

ok mate, as i said above really, leave it atleast 4 weeks before you put polishes on it, in the mean time you can put a layer of wax on it until the paints hardened.

You have got that the wrong way round Dan, you can polish it but don't wax it. Waxing it will stop the air getting to it and drying properly, you can polish it by all means though. Don't put any LSP on though.
