Title: VR6 DIZZY ARCIN ON CYLINDER HEAD

GOT A PROBLEM WHEN TRYING TO START MY MK2 VR6 FOUND WE HAD WEAK SPARK SO CLEANED ALL EARTHING POINTS ON CAR CHASSI
NOW I HAVE GREAT SPARK PROBLEM IS ITS ARCHIN OF SIDE OF DIZZY CASSING TO CYLINDER HEAD ANY ONE HAD THIS PROBLEM, IM PRETTY CERTAIN GUNNA NEED NEW DIZZY JUST WOUNDERING IT MIGHT B SOMETHING ELSE CAUSIN THIS ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

is the dizzy cap n arm in good nick? is it definitely the dizzy arcing and not one of the leads? vr is very picky about leads, get a new set if in doubt. bosch/beru make from gsf, avs or veew services bristol will do the job for you

got brand new leads sparks defo comin from around distributor metal casing doesnt sparkall time say every 3,4 times cranking motor over

thats a new one on me! yeah id say new dizzy will be required if the cap n arm are good.

yeah me and fewmates cant belive it either best 1 was when it arched all way to throttle body
