Hello everyone, My Monza's are looking a bit tired due to whiteworming and I am now looking to get them refurbished, does anyone know of anywhere that does a good job. I am living in Norwich so ideally looking for a company in Norfolk but open to any suggestions. Cheers.

Im based in Bristol i had mine refurbed about a month ago i knew the chap already. Bristol maybe abit far for you tho. Im not sure if he does a service where u send the wheels to him and he refurbs them or not. If you havent already had it done be careful with some places for them not to try and fob you off by saying "they need to paint them" only reason being they cant be assed to go through the effort of doing it properly i.e with sanders, dremals etc. They CAN be saved normally, painting is a very very last resort if they are completely knackerd with massive chunks and scratches out the face of the alloy. Ill try and get some pics up.

Cheers, pics would be good just the whiteworm is making mine look horrible at the moment, no kerbing damage to my wheels though. Just want a good job done when I do take them, as having them painted would ruin the look of the wheel.

Sorry for the late reply been very busy. The chap who did it for me actualy has the before and after pictures. Sadly i never got a chance to take any of the "before" so i only have the after pics. I'll get outside and take some on the weekend as when i get home its usually dark lol.
Lots of places don't touch them tho as they are "brushed aluminium" and its hard to get the effect back thats why many refurb places (not all) try and tell you that they need to be painted and end up giving you some redicules high priced quote.
Mine where pretty much knackerd all around lots of kerbing many chunks taken out, only on the outter rim tho. There were quite a few deep scratches in the face of the alloy its self. I gave my car to him for a couple of days and they came back looking fantastic. He even said that if i end up messing them up again they have atleast another 2 or 3 go's of refurb (with sanders dremals etc) before they just end up looking rubbish and WILL have to be painted...i have been bery careful since lol.
He first off quoted me 120 for the lot (that was without seeing them and depending on if they just had minor damage)...then he seen the car and quoted me 150...then he started doing the work then quoted me AGAIN 180 - so thats what i ended up paying all in all £180 for all 4 wheels and polished up. (Apparently VW do a service acording to him which would of cost £350 + to refurb these Monzas)
Seeing as yours is just whiteworm i doubt it would be that much they would just need some tlc.

Here we go then. Sorry for the ever so late reply. I just got a couple of pictures off the chap who refurbed them for me the "before" pic below has already had the work started on it but you can see the scatches clearly i had on the face of the alloy there were quite deep. Fortunately i never had white worm just very bad scratches and chunks missing.
Before:

Now just look how gorgeous they look. These are on my MK4 by the way. Let me know what you think.
After:
Ta daaa...

Bare in mind i asked him not to touch the grey inserts inside the wheels as i still wanted the genuine look as they are genuine mk5 gti alloys.

Looks like he has done a really good job on them.

Guys I need to have the 19" Honda Rage rims on my Accord refurbed but because they are diamond cut, hardly anyone can do it.
Are those Monza's also diamond cut? Can I ask how much did he charge you?
These are my rims, they have powder coated inserts and diamond cut blade faces. But I wouldn't need the inserts doing, they're perfect, just the kerbing sorted and diamond cut then lacquered:

Looks like the same sort of finish as the Monzas tbh mate on those Honda wheels. You have got very minor damage on yours no where near as bad as mine. Mine were in quite a bad state all round. Doubt they would need powdercoating as the damage is very minor on yours. Probs just be the case of sanding and dremal'ing lacquereing up and a good polish. Give him a bell his website is above with his contact details on.
I payed £180 for all 4 to be done in the end. That may have been mates rates tho. So price is dependent on condition of your alloys tbh plus your postage fee if your going to send them to him. Prices start from £35+.
Go on his website hes done all sorts even Ferraris to :)

Thanks bud, I just checked and realised they are in the south west :(

Make sure the company uses the correct materials for the repair otherwise you will have a job that will look good for a few months then cack and you will need to redo them.
