Title: Fault code 00562 after fitting immo3 clocks
Post by: Devilz on 18 July 2010, 19:33
Just fitted some immo3 clocks to a car that had immo2. Anyway, after finishing installing them it had a warning on turning the ignition saying "'Oil Sensor - Workshop", this message wasnt on the immo2 clocks.

Anyway vcds came up with the below fault code which would not clear. I proceeded with the mte and lit needles, corrected the mileage then reset the VDO. This cleared the message "'Oil Sensor - Workshop" and i thought thats good and didnt do another scan.

does the car have an oil level sensor?  If not then it will always come up as a code as its looking for something that isn't there

You can code that out anyway

Look at the sump - at the very bottom you'll see a plug (not the sump plug) if its there

Doubt the car will have an oil sensor. You can get rid of i it i think by recoding the clocks to not use an oil sensor.
