Title: HELP!!!!!!
Post by: joearl on 18 July 2010, 15:27
I have a 1997 GTi 5-door hatchback 2.0 8v. I am trying to sell it to help to buy a newer model. I have no idea how much it is worth and have been offered 200 quid. Don't want to get ripped off. Anyone any idea if that is a fair price? It is taxed until august but the MOT expired in april. Know it needs couple new tyres but should be ok apart from that.

Welcome to the site.

If you think that all it needs is a couple of tyres for the MOT then i'd get the tyres done and MOT it. With a 12 month MOT it will be much more desirable and you'll certainly get more than £200 if it's in decent nick
