Title: mk2 central locking

Now that the motor is running again need to sort the central locking!! It used to have an alarm and that I have stripped out and seem to be left with 2 wires that went to the motor in the drivers door. Dont suppose anyone knows what the five wires should all be connected to from the motor in the door? I take it some should run to the pump in the rear of the car? What should the 3 wires be on the pump, I am guessing 2 control wires that switch between 12 volts and an earth? Thanks for any pointers etc. The motor in my drivers door may not be original, has no air hose to it etc? Thanks again. Paul

yer sounds like a kits been fitted normally 5 wires drivers door and 2 wires on the others, the should all go back to a small box about the size of a cig packet which inturn is connected to a power source without this little box the locks will not work.
