Title: May need to change my username

I have just picked up my new project,pics to follow when i get my digital camera back.I have got a R plate 3 door Indian red metallic 8v gti.First impressions are quite good and tbh its not much different to my mk2 accleration and speed wise

Nice motor, good colour.  Is it a '97 or '98 model?.  Mines a '98 and the colour is Ruby Red Metallic, the last 3000 made had different colour options and aircon plus the option of Solitudes instead of Long Beach alloys.  Also, they were made in South Africa, it seems put together just as well as my last 3.

Been down to vw this morning and found out its canyon red pearl not indian red.Its a 1998 but it has got the long beach alloys(not for long :wink:)and no air con
