Post by: colourcongti on 04 January 2005, 16:13
I am looking at fitting a 1.8T into my mk3 golf  does anyone know a good company that can do this or supply the engine and bits to do the job myself

Just put a Vr6 in it m8 ;)
I had a 1.8T and was'nt very happy with it so i sold it and got a Vr6 and put the remaining 3 grand in the bank :D

I would go with burnsy on this one the vr6 will be a lot faster than a 1.8t

Or ya could have a 2.0 litre 16v with a bit of head and cam work plus the usual filter and exhaust stuff would give as much power and be more reliable than either of them!

TSR in Bristol would do that for ya.
